Dr. Rictor graduated with honors with a BA in Molecular Biology from UMBC in 1981. He attended the University of Maryland Medical School where he was elected to the AOA Honor Medical Society in his Junior year and graduate with honors with his MD in 1985
Dr. Rictor did his internship and residency training at the Washington Hospital in Washington PA and served as Chief Resident his final year.
Dr. Rictor has spoken internationally with many firms. He established the Hospital Ethics Committee at the Chambersburg Hospital and served as Chairman of the Family Medicine department for 7 years.
Dr. Rictor wrote a book on caregiving, “Who Cares for Me?–A Caregiver Guide” On four separate occasions, Dr Rictor was able to travel to Siberia, Samara and Tashtagol with AGAPE Medical Missions where he served as a family physician and as a featured speaker for Ethics Reform.
